Question #1:

What could I make with these ingredients?

I have: turkey tenderloins, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, eggs, potatoes, milk, potato pancake mix, onion, cheddar cheese, raspberry preserves (sugar free) & all the usual staple ingredients (ketchup, mustard, herbs, spices..).

I can't have rice, pasta or bread. I need to keep the meat as moist as possible. I need it to be very low in sugar.

Any help will be appreciated.

will my teeth be stained when my braces are off?

I clean my teeth twice a day with a normal toothbrush, then with a small toothbrush to get in between the wires, then i also use a mouthwash containing fluoride. I only realized my teeth might end up stained when my close cousin got braces 6 months after i did and he takes it really seriously...he doesn't ever drink fizzy drinks, or juice, doesnt even eat crusty bread or occasionally have some chocolate! I drink SUGAR FREE fizzy drinks almost every day, and juice, and i have chocolate occasionally. I am petrified of my teeth being stained when my braces come off in about a year. Even though i clean my teeth thoughrily, will my teeth be stained?! :S

today i ran 1 mile, walked 1, and had an hour of volleyball practice.
i took in about 1800 calories when i usually only eat about 1000 or less. also, i haven't had pizza or brownies in about a year or so..so this is really unlike me. will i gain weight!?

Possibly juvenile diabetes?

My 5 yr old niece may be diagnosed with juvenile diabetes this week. She went to the hospital sick and throwing up she had pneumonia and they checked her blood sugar because she had ketones in her urine and it was 209 (she had been eating popsicles and gatorade) so they put her on a sugar free diet and kept checking her sugars. It dropped down to normal and they released her from the hospital but they said she still needs a glucose test. Is it likely that she has it but it can be contolled with diet? They aren't giving her any sugar until after the test. Is there a chance that she doesn't have it? We are all scared for her. Part of one of her lungs doesn't work due to having been born a micropremie. 1 lb 11 oz and she is prone to catching what anyone else has. She also has AD/HD which 90% of premature babies get diagnosed with and seems to be under control. She has often complained of her heart hurting and the doctors did EKG tests, etc. but never at the time when she said it hurt. Oddly, at the time her sugar was high, she was saying it hurt and her heart rate was fast. Has anyone else had that experience? Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What should I say to people who make fun of my anorexia and how to overcome it?

I was 5'9" and 140 in December after my first semester of college, and decided I wanted to lose some weight. So I started excercising more and went on a crash diet of sugar free jello, salads, apples, and low cal soups. By May, I was down to 120 pounds.
I went home for the summer and bad things just kept happening to me (brother almost committed suicide, had to call the cops on my dad multiple times, I had two surgeries that went badly, etc.). I became majorly upset over all of that and lost more weight through excercise and got down to 106 pounds by August. Then I started having a problem of starving myself for days, then binge eating peanut butter and bread when my parents weren't around. Last week I decided to get help and saw a counselor (didn't help) and read some self-help books (did help me improve my outlook on life).
I just moved back into college Sunday, and things aren't going well. I binged on 3/4ths a box of cheezits and turkey sandwhiches Sunday.
Yesterday more people started moving in. I kept running into people who would subsequently make fun on my anorexia.
They said things like:
"You look like a stick"
"Eat 3 cheesburgers for me"
"Gain some damn weight"- from a guy who I had s*x with last year, so that was extra upsetting.
"Don't become anorexic like (my name)"
"you're gonna blow away"

I almost wanted to drop out of school yesterday and started to cry. I've been trying for the past week to eat more, but it hurts to eat. And I don't wanna eat unhealthy foods. I want to gain weight by eating healthy stuff like protein, nuts, and fruits and veggies.
What can I say to people who make these hurtful comments without sounding like a b**ch? and how can I stop the binge/excercise purge cycle?
I'm 5'9" and 108, btw.

I'm mom of 8-year-old and don't give those to her so often.

But my daughter was confused that she was offered a popsicle
just before going to bed by the host (Canadian family) of sleepover.
She said, "No Thanks. I already brushed my teeth."
The next day, she was given one because the host said, "this is
sugar-free and good for your throat", knowing my daughter was
coughing. (It was around 10pm)

For myself born out of Canada, I was almost banned to have
'soft drinks' - my mom used to call those 'sugar water with artificially
coloured'- and didn't have sweets after dinner (except for desert) by
my parents when I was little. And I don't take anything 'cold' when I
have sore throat and that's what I teach my child.

I had a multigrain english muffin with fat free cream cheese and sugar free jelly for breakfast. Then for lunch I had a large apple with fat free yogurt dip, some turkey with fat free cheese, and 1 cup of fat free ice cream. (Oops, but hey..we have to splurge sometimes, right?)

I think that adds up to about 535 calories, correct? I'll probably have Kashi Go Lean cereal for dinner with skim milk. Maybe some peaches?

Today is my day off for exercise. I have 2 hours of volleyball everyday Monday-Saturday.

Total of 755-800 calories today. Am I counting correctly?

So should I be confident with my meal plan? Will I lose weight? I'm 15, 5'7 and 125 pounds.

Moving to Israel from USA. What should I bring that Israel doesn't have?

I have lived here for 3 months and already have "necessities," however, I may have to leave soon to go to the States for a little while and then return to Israel. What are some items that I can bring back that Israel doesn't have, or has very expensive, that I should invest in while I'm in the States. I know a few things already, but I am looking for more ideas. I know Israel doesn't have sugar free drink mixes, so I'm going to stock up on those, as well as a lot of fingernail polish that I can get cheap over there. What else? P.S. I'm a 33-year-old female with a 13-year-old son and I am recently married to an Israeli man.
From being here just 3 months and not even leaving the house very much in this time, I have realized that Israel doesn't have A LOT of what the US does, and if they do, it's hella expensive. Please, honest advise. I will have 4 suitcases (FREE) to bring stuff back in.

How can I fix my jelly that didn't jell?

I used a sugar free recipe which said to invert for a minute and then refrigerate. I didn't want to have to refrigerate, so I processed it in the water bath for 15 minutes. (I'm at 4500' so I did it for 10 minutes more than my book said to) The bit I didn't water bath actually jelled. I used 2 cups of juice, 4 tsp of gelatin, a little lemon juice and a little sugar. How can I fix this? It's basically juice now. Is it still possible to jell it???
