Answer #1:
nope. That would be too much, too fast. Unless you like, have a gastric bypass or liposuction or something.Answer #2:
well there is one diet that really worked for me and its called "eating raw" it's basically when you only eat raw fruit, veggies, and nuts, and juices. it is a very effective diet if you stick with it for a while, but make sure you get enough protein on this diet, since there is no meat involved you will have to eat plenty of nuts, or take protein vitamins. another big part of this is exercise (as you know) Aerobics, pilates, and cardio are good workouts but going to the gym is just as good. may want to invest in a blender or juicer to make your own healthy drinks. if you decide to do this diet i recommend starting in august then going for the whole month.good luck!
here are some websites about eating raw

Charlene, what I recommend to people trying to lose weight is to do some simple stuff to change their behavior. Any type of diet or exercise routine will usually be rejected, since most are just to much of a lifestyle change. Instead, I recommend changing only one meal. Eat what you normally eat, but try to eat a lunch which is healthy. What I call healthy:
1) Either a fish (salmon) or some grass-fed beef.
2) a salad consisting of a mix of kale, chard, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, olives, dried tomatoes, avocados, plus, kidney or pinto beans, walnuts, and add in olive oil (lots) and lemon juice.
3) Some blueberries for dessert.
Absolutely stay away from any grains (cereals, pastas, breads) during lunch. That is what put the weight on.
You might find that you really enjoy these healthy foods. Your will feel full and your body will respond to good food.
It took you time to put that weight on and no short term fix will remove it. More importantly, continuing bad eating habits will likely come with more illnesses.
